MFM installer crashing

Urs,
I'm trying to install the latest version of MFM on my laptop, and the installer is crashing after about 3 seconds. I can click through a few buttons if I'm quick enough on the draw, but it still crashes. I've tried a reboot already with all other programs shut down. Not sure if this is your installer or Windows.
Running XP Pro on an Compaq nx6325.
Thanks!
Tim

Oh ha... that's extraordinarily weird... I'm using InnoSetup for the installer as always...
I'm currently away from home, so I can't look into it before next week
Maybe someone here can provide you with a pre-installed version (.dll and Support files without registration)? Anyone?
Cheers,
Urs

Here is a zipfile with the .dll, support files, and presets.Urs wrote:Maybe someone here can provide you with a pre-installed version (.dll and Support files without registration)? Anyone?

To install, place the u-he folder in your C:\Program Files directory and place the .dll wherever you keep your VST plugins. I didn't include the readme and the PDF since you can get those from the normal installer.
Hope this keeps you going until Urs gets back.

Many thanks -- that solves the immediate problem!
Urs, I've had the same problem trying to install Tone2's Firebird and Bome's Mouse Keyboard -- both also built with Inno Setup. Something about my configuration is not getting along with Inno Setup, I guess.
EDIT: I do, by the way, own a legit copy of MFM!

Whoa!!
I just tried installing Bome's on my desktop at home, and it crashed there. I then downloaded the latest MFM and tried re-installing that, and the installer crashed as well.
Microsoft just sent out a new security patch a few days ago -- could this have broken the Inno Setup-based installers?
Weird.

I've got it:
Inno Setup seems to be incompatible with Spyware Detector. Shutting down SD allowed me to install.
