I've started to use an Axiom 25 and 49.
Ian
I use an Axiom 49 and a Korg Kaoss Pad 2 to control the XY controllers. I've written a small console app to map the program change buttons to different CC#s for the KP2.
I know at least one person uses Novation SL controllers (mkastrup) and loves them.

i really like my axiom49 overall, but there is nothing special about it in relation to zebra.
i have been talking to a few geeks about building a bank of 4 trackpads to apply to zebra.
i have also been having dreams about getting the haken continuum! anyone here have one of those? if so, what's it like with zebra? i can't even imagine the possibilities...
hoping that that amazing trackpad on the new macbook Air makes it over to the rest of the line... can you imagine being able to "pinch" or "flick" zebra around? of course, the u-he team would have to do a bit of input handling on their ends, but wow what a great new feature!

I use my X-Station, it already has an XY and I map the knobs as closely as makes sense (Main Env to En1 on Z so I can always change the release or attack easily, etc..).

There's also interesting things coming from Novation with Automap 2.0. Apparently the software will use a HUD like interface with their new budget controller.
Novation Nocturn
dv247 has it listed for 70 pounds. I'm expecting a $99 US street price.

I'm using the Novation RemoteSL 25 and love it in conjunction with Zebra. You can even map your favorite XY controller to the touchpad. Great stuff.Hi,
Was wondering what people used for keyboards or control surfaces to control Zebra?

Except that the touchpad sucks on the Remotes. I have a Remote 49, and the pad is useless - you can't even get it to send consecutive values, without jumping 2 or 3 in between.atom-x wrote: I'm using the Novation RemoteSL 25 and love it in conjunction with Zebra. Well I wouldn't say useless, but the Remote touch pad leaves alot to be desired. My biggest problem with mine is that the update times is SLOW. Anyways, keyboard is nice. You can buy the Korg Oasys just for the joystick control!spritex wrote:What would be perfect would be a self-contained USB version of the Korg Wavestation joystick. It was really good for vector control.

guitar center has the m-audio ozonic for 199 right now. it's actually pretty nice... a joystick, plenty of sliders/knobs/buttons for DAW control, plus a 4in/4out FW audio interface built in. good price, considering they list for 599. i use one as my quickie portable controller/interface, but i try to stay away from m-audio in general (very slow with their driver updates).

Is that a typo? Does GC still sell it now for $199?
I can't find an Ozonic anywhere on their website.
Thanks.
