Hi,

Just bought a Computer Music Magazin and installed the famous ZebraCM. It's great, thanks to the developer!

But, although I'm not complete new to music, computers, vsti's and synthesis, I don't understand the oscillator section in ZebraCM. Is it not possible to change the oscillators? I can only see the Polywave selected. Maybe this is a very stupid question because I couldn't find a similar question on this forum, but I hope someone can explain this to me.

Many thanks in advance!!

The idea is, each oscillator has 16 waveforms and you can smoothly move through these. They are chosen so that going from one to the next has a pretty high impact, i.e. when you go from 13 to 14 or from 15 to 16.

So the difference is, instead of a menu (or switch) with which you'd jump from one to the other, you'd just seamlessly morph.

OK, thanx! I still don't get it ;-) (probably because I'm used to work with synths which have the 'traditional' osc's which can be selected by a menu or switch, and the thing I understand is that ZebraCM is working different on this... ?!?) But I'll dive into it when I get home this evening. The sound is just amazing for a free product. Makes me curious about the 'full' Zebra...

Just play around with the knob called "Waveform". This and the surrounding stuff is what replaces the waveform menu, PWM and - to some extent - a filter.

Thanks! And I must admit, latter is indeed intentional. Just a little bit
