Hi there,
afaik Live 7 still displays only 127 controllers in the clip-view & the most important are missing, of course (filters & envelopes).
Is there any workaround for this problem ?
Thanks

Have you tried just mapping the controls in Zebra's interface & automating?

my favorite way around this is to get all the things you want to control into some XY setups, then map the XYs to whatever. a bit of a PITA, but once you get used to it, it's just as good as direct (and much more control/power, i think).

That's exactly how I would do it.

For filter & envelope control just check out right-click on the XY. There are some basic assignments that are automated.

With a little effort one can create presets for XY assignments. Maybe I can come up with something next week or so... like a small recipe for this.

Thanks a lot for your answers !
I'll test it today & report if it's working :).

Hi again,
I now checked the trick with the XY-performance tools, but I could only assign the " Y " -axis to a controller in Ableton.
Did any of you ever manage to do it in real life :? ?
Thx again & all the best,
B.

I managed to assign all of the eight parameters.
They start with the 3rd or 4th parameter, I guess and are named 'Controller 1 X', 'Controller 1 Y', 'Controller 2 X' or similar (just cannot validate, don't have my music computer running atm.)
I did this with a Remote 25 as well as using a BCR2000, always worked fine. When I turn the knobs, Zebra's X-Y vector thingies follow and vice versa.

stay tuned
