Some granular sample osc's would be cool.

Biggest issues (feature requests) from my "boss" here are:
1) bigger GUI option
2) program change
3) proper library functions (delete, move etc.)
4) non-sychronizing LFOs (NEED this yesterday!)

I'm sending Jayney's CD first :-pHoward wrote:Biggest issues (feature requests) from my "boss" here are:

But yeah... working on it... "boss" has mentioned these things to me too
How are things though? Must be a bit strange working on the "project" after recent incidents... hope this doesn't take away the fun aspects of the thing...

I was thinking world domination. Could Howard and Urs be the villians in the next Bond picture?

Yes please. Granularity would be an absolute shoe-in for ZebraR.J.Dubya wrote:This is a pretty long thread, and I'm sorry if it's been suggested, but a few granular sample-based oscillators would be cool. The way it's currently set up is perfect for that. The user could import a sample to use as a granular oscillator, and then the ten wavetables for that oscillator could each have there own loop position within the sample, allowing morphing between positions. My god that would be excellent!
I don't know what else this synth could use, it's great. But user-loadable sample osc's for the wavetable would be brilliant!

personally I think granular synthesis is overhyped... <- this is an opinion!!!

I'd like to see the border between synthesis elements (OSC, FMO, shaper etc.) and effects elements (reverb, delay, chorus etc.) vanish.
So one could have e.g. a reverb available in the same way that a comb filter is available.
Or maybe even the distinction between synthesis and effects would be totally removed.
Is this possible?

Yes. One of the next revisions (2.5?) will add a dedicated monophonic version that has only one Grid for everything - and audio input.HiEnergy wrote:I'd like to see the border between synthesis elements (OSC, FMO, shaper etc.) and effects elements (reverb, delay, chorus etc.) vanish.

Audio input? Thanks! That tackles one of my requests which I'd filed under 'not so likely to happen'.
