Oh, there is actually, cause the knobs have different functions on different screens. I have an EX5 keyboard version.

I've used an EX5 in the past. I'm looking for stuff like this -

I want the full interface in my face, not buried in menus.

Are you sure you really want the MOST advanced?

In that case, Yamaha VL1-m. But since you most probably won't find one for sale for a sane price, or at all, the next is VL70-m. (the tons of advanced synth parameters are only editable with software)

Forget the Korg MS2000 - take a Korg Radias in your rack and you have about four times a MS2000.

Not so advanced... that's mostly old school Moog modules, with some Dotcom thrown in (Q-119 sequencers).

There is the radias, just got one for a trial, worth checking out, fun, but sounds too digital for me... you have lots of knobs, arp + step seq + mod seq... very good usb integration... nice clean punchy bass, dreamy arps/mod seq textures....

I prefer the sound of an evolver but the poly evolver rack has too few knobs..

It's the best picture I could find of his setup and also couldn't find anyone with more modules in a 5-10 minute search either.

I've thought about it, but it's also 4 times the cost too right now. RADIAS is $999 (or $875 for a rebox at Nova), or about $250 on Ebay for the MS2000.... Hmmm...

They just announced that their MSRP will be $2499, which is a drop from the time of their initial announcement last year. I'll be getting a unit in the next week or so to help with the more twiddly bits of the user's manual, so it looks like they'll hit the streets fairly soon.

Check out their video demos on their site to see if it fits the way you imagine working for you.

Recommend me some hardware rack synths w/ knobs/etc.
