he and i were talking on IM and i asked him if he knew if i could hexedit the DLL to make a new bank inside, that's when he found out the oatmealprs.dat trick

ttoz; the arp bug is simple to see, right click a arp step and choose all of the options, do they all make sense? i cant figure out what i'm doing wrong in my skin but sometimes the random step type shows up where it shouldn't and sometimes the other steps are offset by 1 slot.
a guy emailed me and said he fixed it, but i cant for the life of me find the email and so i'm bummed out. i was hoping to include his fix into the new versions of the skins but unless he pops in here, i have no way to get ahold of him nor can i find the messages he sent me. i cant remember if he did it with email, or IM, or what and so i'm out of luck there.
i'd fix it if i could understand wtf is going on but everything seems to be setup properly in the oms file and the graphics both. it drove me a little insane earlier. no time now to deeply dive in and try harder got work to do for job but it's frustrating.
it's fine as long as you dont do anything with the last 3 or 4 arp steps

works great for my eyes too. use it a lot. there is also i think a powertoy to put it into the startbar. i cant remember though for sure.

actually n/m you can dock it by dragging the window. it's quite a nice little tool and it's built into windows xp (probably still inside vista too).
hope that helps. i'm not going to be making any large version -- wayyyyyy too much work involved. however, the source PSD files are on my site and anyone can use them as a basis for their own or enlarge them or whatever.
it's too bad it's not as simple as batch enlarging the skin images by a ratio of 1.25 or something, but the OMS skin format would require massive edits doing that, the X|Y offset system used is very precise and very capable, but also very deep and sometimes endless to do a skin from scratch
try that magnifier and see if it works out ok for you.

I wish it was as easy as just enlarging the files to blindboy proportions, cos those skins are just sublime.

i wish it was too man. thanks. if you are looking for a big UI for synth work try cobalt. might not be as flexible as oatmeal but imo it's 100x easier to work with and it sounds very beautiful.
