I know how to do this for sequences but how does it work for audio?
I'd like to draw a volume automation in an audio clip (volume fader for example).
Thanks
I'm not 100% sure how to make it work when you start by drawing the sequence part. The easiest way I know to get there is to turn on recording of events and then move the rack slider. The resulting sequence part will contain your moves, be properly targeted to the mixer strip's gain slider, and can be edited to be exactly what you want. When I do that, the part is targeted to "Rack Plugins / Rack "A" / Mixer Strip", and the Value 2 section of the sequence that contains the recorded moves of the fader is identified as "Gain", which I don't see available under the preset options for Value 2 types if I create the automation sequence manually as you've described.gemada wrote:I've put an audio file in track 1 targeted to rack A.
Then inserted an empty sequence part in track 2 and targeted it to rack A either.
In that empty sequence i draw a volume curve but that doesn't affects the audio clip.
Could you explain me how to make it work?
Thanks for your support
