I have been laying a couple of ideas in MU.Lab using multi out plugs like Microtonic and was wondering if there is a way to set up folder or Parent tracks.
I use the modular view to send all available outs to different racks and then gather all these into a "Master" rack for processing the whole instrument, but is there a way to hide all individual racks and leave the master one only?
Is this planned for future development?
Another idea I was about to suggest is that when using the piano roll left clicking on a key while holding Ctrl (or another modifier that you please) should select all notes in that key. That helps a lot while moving notes around to fit a different musical key(just an idea)

Folder tracks are not yet in there, but it indeed is on the whishlist.

It's in there: right-click a key on the keyboard and choose "Select All These Notes" ;)

Never forget to right-click here and there when you look for extra functionalities.

Right-clicking is the golden gate to hidden functionality!

:)

Thanks for the reply.
I will right click more often
Do you have a banner I can use to link to MUTOOLS from my personal and my work web page?

didn't want to open up a new thread so i drop it here

can you rework the text of the menue bar (top left)
since mulab doesn't fit to a 800x screensize.

when i start mulab the size is perfect for small screens
but i can't see the menue anymore.
(using a 7" widescreen tft, asus eeepc)

besides that mulab runs nice on the eeepc.

Well, in fact i'm thinking about expanding the main menu with the option "Tools".

So then it would be even wider.

Anyway, solution is to edit the skin so that these 3 top panels get smaller.

Anyone who wants to create a branched skin for smaller screens?

It's about these pictures & xml files:

AudioPartPropertyPanel
SequencePartPropertyPanel
MainMenuPanel
TransportPanel

To do:

1) make the pictures smaller
2) update the field coordinates in the xml file
