The current beta-testing group is closed, please, check back for future new synths tests.

EVE Electronic Vintage Ensemble

3 modules synth and sample player VSTi, each module can load a collection of multi-sampled sounds. The sample-collections will be provided by www.backintimerecords.de from original vintage gears

NOTE: For this product we won't be giving a FREE copy to beta-testers users. But selected users (those who actually helped) will receive a special discount after the product is released. We won't select at Random, we will see who helped or not.

short time for me to test EVE.
after installing EVE crashs LAP 4.8.1 (Win98SE) at Startup.

would be nice if you wrote a little something about what its supposed to sound like ?\ what kind of vsti this is ?

Krim, sorry for that, but we did post and emailed the old group that it was closed and that new tests would be performed here. Just email me and you are in.

Thank you, but sadly we can't do much about LAP since is not being suported anymore on PC, we can't even get a DEMO copy. Unless Emagic gives us a free full copy we can't do much. BUT I think that the problem you have is just due to the MessageBox that appears on the start. I will do a new compilation that doesn't show that box specially for LAP users. Latter today I email you with the info.

I uploaded a DEMO version so you can at least see if it opens.

This is a total new talk.

We are doing slowly the MAC ports, but yes, we do have plans.

initial response [after 1st 5 minutes playing with eve]

> loading up fine - running stable in tracktion
> both current soundsets ok on 1st quick run up and down the built-in keyboard
> no obvious faults after this intial short little test [will do more at the weekend when ive got time]

quick question -

That's great, thanxs for testing it up. Sorry that we haven't suplied presets yet, but we want to test a bit first to see if we have to change something on the presets-engine, after that we will do a good bank.

The final product will have several sound-sets from several vintage gears, We don't have a full list yet. But it will also support new Sound-Sets and we are allready working on refills for it.

Got it running ok in OPlat, but when i close OPlat, it crashes. Had a similar prob with Reaktor and Carbon.

Seems to be very 'organ' based sound at the mo, what plans are there for the sound palette?

My system: PIII, 866 MHz, 384 MB, Win ME.

First quick impressions:

1. Eve is loaded in Logic 5.2 (= Magix Midi Studio 2003) and is playing. When changing a preset no sound anymore. When closing EVE, Logic crashes.

2. Loaded in Massiva it is playing, changing a preset then no sound anymore. Massiva cannot be closed normally, only by closing the task.

3. Doesn´t load in Chainer, it only appears the window "Beta testing version ...". After that, closing Chainer crashes Chainer.

4. In EnergyXT I don´t have problems with EVE.

5. Generally I have the impression that tweaking many knobs doesn´t have an influence on the sound.
