2. Loaded in Massiva it is playing, changing a preset then no sound anymore. Massiva cannot be closed normally, only by closing the task.
With Beta 3:

1. The same.

2. All fixed.

Modulator section: Whatever effect I´m using and how much I´m tweaking the related FX knobs, I can´t hear any influence on the sound.

What do you have the modulator knobs set at in the upper right of the interface?

For now Logic will have to wait, but I think is totally related to the MessageBoxes. ;) I tried all your links but all I got was a very old Sequencer program (V1.0) with no VST at all. :(

About the modulator, did you selected an effect? Did you turned the FX-Send volume up on the EVE mixer? Is the FX volume up too? Sorry to ask silly questions, but sometimes we make small mistakes. ;)

WillK ... great work on getting those bugs fixed. The LP is working great now. I think the level meter next to the volume for the chans is either peeking non stop when u play it or is distorting because the main output is still too loud. Might be something you would like to look at. You could bring down the slider so its not all the way at the top as default? As for the new presets, very nice. Although when I use the B3 preset, I did a small test with the eq and turned up the treble all the way up. This caused my output to have a tick in it as if it was a bad loop. Perhaps its the way its supposed to be. I know I am being picky, but its what beta testing is all about! :)

The ADSR is working better than the beta 1. Did you update something. It feels like its more responsive. Really expresses the sound.

Still no crashing in N2 or Cubase SX. I tryed it in Lap 5.5.1. No issues there either.

geeezzzz I feel so left out!

Hi William... sorry to have been gone for a few days, but I would love to get in on testing EVE if possible.

[btw.... what a great name ... ahem... for a change! :D ]

did you send emails out on this to the old group???? I sure did not get one... maybe I'd better check in with you and make sure my addy in your book is correct... hmmm it must be though as I do get some dashsignature 'specials' emails... what to think?

best wishes to ya as always,
max

Beta 3-I can't find anything to complain about....no more CPU spikes...and the Cakewalk wrapper is happy with her in Sonar and P5....I'll keep on trying to break it...:)

Sorry about not getting the right sequencer Midi Studio 7 like Magix has listed it on their demo download site - bad support from Magix.

About the modulator, I didn´t turn the modulator knobs on the upper right, only the ones on the bottom left side - sorry. All ok now.

More bugs -

This one is kinda funny actually. :)

Play a 4 note chord. Have Glide "A"ctivated. Switch from 4+ note polyphony to 1 note polyphony. Sometimes all the notes get turned off, sometimes not. Hit one note, it's fine, but play 3 notes in succession, you get a stuck note. I like how it glides from the single note you play back to the stuck note though. :) Now, turn the polyphony to 2, you'll hear your 2nd stuck note, then turn it to 3, you'll hear the 3rd one, etc. Turn up the poly past the amount of stuck notes and then slam your hand on the keyboard to unstick the notes.

If glide is not on with the A button, the note DOES stick when you change polyphony, but stops when you hit a key. Change the poly, the stuck notes are there. It'll also 'burst' the sound on, like it's totally skipping the ADSR evelope when the notes do come on. Switch upt he poly again, the notes are off, but once you hit a key, the notes burst on again with more stuck notes. It's like it's holding memory of what you had before.

There, that should be enough for you to fix now. ;)

CPU usage is CONSIDERABLY better. Instead of the bouncing 10-20% like it was before, with all the 'extras' turned off, I get 2%. Much better.

More bugs/problems -

Suit88 by itself clips once you start to hit your 4th note in a chord, and for SURE clips when you hit a 5th. Some other patches come close, like CX3, but Suit88 is the worst offender.

Chaning delay time 1 and delay time 2 while its playing at the very low settings makes a lot of clicks in the audio. The other knobs do not do this, except for Volume L and R when you move them to their extremes quickly. It's like you have a crispy pot for the delay time though. :) The clicks are more apparent in 'percussive' sounds than the pads.

Oh, thanxs, I will check this problems soon.

One thing I forgot to mention, that will be included on the manual. The "A" next to the Glider is for Automatic Glider. When is OFF, all notes glides, when is ON, only when you HELD a note and play another it glides. :P

Also, could you set the Volume to Low on the global-menu? (click on EVE logo) that should make the distortion go away...

Ford, stop trying to break it, I won't replace if you do! (just joking)

I spoke too soon...I got to thinking after reading Devon's post mentioning audio problems so I listened very carefully and went through the samplebanks playing scales to check for any noticible noise...I discovered that there was noise on PE2 from D4 to C5...and on CX3 from G5 to C7...very similar to the noise I had back on the Tubi tests...noticible on held notes...

Also...checking for "stuck notes" since it came up I found a case of stuck notes, but this may just be from misuse...It happens on each of the 3 channels...If I have 3 sounds loaded and triggered all on MIDI-channel 1 and then change any one of them to a different MIDI-channel during playback(in FL Studio), that M-channel's note sticks....Maybe that's a normal situation...I don't know...Maybe no one would be switching these around during playback, but I did so someone else may for some odd reason...

Same bug I reported on the first day. :)

Also, another problem I've found, maybe it's just me, as I'm not a master tuner, but PE2 and Solina played together (put Solina on A and PE2 on B and put them both on Channel 1 let's say) it really sounds very dissonant and out of tune. Anyone else agree, or is it just me? Play a chord to see what I'm talking about.

The problem on hanging-notes on changing a midi-channel is a bit tricky. What I could do is a all-notes-off when you change the channel. I tested this on other products and the same happens. Since is hard, you are getting notes-on/off on Midi-Ch1 and you change to Ch2, how the program can know that the note-offs for Ch1 is indeed suposed to be used here. Since you could also have set this somewhere else in a complex system. You know, but the computer doesn't. :P

I will think on something...
