Ah yes, another one of those intelligent reactions of someone who can't even bother to type or spell decently *sighs*
While I am annoyed too with the long waiting times for Komplete on receptor, I cannot agree with mind-blowingly constructive criticisms like "SUck SOOO Bad". 2nd grade student or what?

So, with the announcement of Komplete 5 for receptor, I still read that us Receptor owners who already own Komplete 4 and maybe 5 have to dish out money to get those installed. I payed for Receptor, I payed for Komplete. Is there any insight IF and WHEN they'll be userinstallable? Even a rough estimate would be nice. Are we talking 6 months here? Or a year? More? Less?
Please answer this honestly and directly. No need for corporate double speak

Daan

I've got Komplete 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. They are one of the prime motivators for me to buy a Receptor, which I finally did this week.
Was it so crazy of me to think that since they are selling Receptors with Komplete 5 pre-installed that it that the Komplete 5 I own would also be compatible and user-installable? I wish I had read more on some of these forums. It looks like you're paying $1000 bucks for the privilege of having someone install and authorize software (which you have to already own). Seems like a really bad deal. I've got a 30 day return policy, and am seriously considering returning my Receptor at this point, since it doesn't support USB Plugsound Pro either, as far as I can tell.
I wouldn't even mind separately installing the particular Komplete 5 components if there was a way to authorize them. I've got the service center on there, but my blanket serial number for Komplete 4 doesn't work for individual authorizations. Please tell me a fix for this is coming, and soon!!

<sound of crickets chirping>
though that cricket sound is *not* being played from Kontakt (or any other sampler in my Receptor) because I can't install any of my plugins of use.

Muse,
At least a tutorial to get Komplete 5 working until OS 2.0 in March. $200 is quite a bit for many receptor users including myself, not to mention 3 months of waiting. (It shouldn't take us 3 months to install it ourselves.)
At the moment, the dilemma is:
Pay us $200 (plus $25-$35 shipping each way) to install software you already own, or wait 3 months (no guarantee it will install properly with the next release).
Not to mention the NI Crossgrade price (whatever they decide that to be [it's already $29 for Pro-53 {one of 11 that needs to be authorized for Receptor}]).
Too complicated and costly. I get the feeling I'm being cheated.

Nope... And with the ssd hard drives coming strong this year, a Macbook Pro seems like a better alternative than ever.

I can't believe it, but it has been a year now since I bought my receptor with the great anticipation of loading my Komplete 4 on it. After watching this thread, hearing different possible timeframes of a fix coming and the the greatest insult to watch them sell exactly what I wanted to *new* customers, I am just flabergasted at the neglect we have here. I understand the technical difficulty in making the unique authorization system of NI, but this is crazy for something I have put over $3000 into and cannot even use for what I bought it for.
Extremely bummed.

THANK YOU!! Someone else that shares my opinion. This is absolute bullshit. They fail to meet deadlines and keep their customer's hopes up by even making them.

Another thread in this forum entitled "Kontakt 3" had somebody who claimed that the program worked fine for them on Receptor, although clearly there's no Receptorized installer on Plugorama. Does anybody know of a way to install the Komplete 5 software via an "unsupported install", or are we all still waiting for Direct Install? FYI I just heard from Muse that they're hoping to have Direct Install out by the end of May.

Thanks for the update. I'll believe it when I see it. Just in case no one noticed. We've complaining about Komplete-incompatibility for roughly 8 months now.
