So, let's say I record a song and I want to send the files to someone else for mixing, but they use a different program. How might I accomplish this with Mu.Lab?

Make sure there's an empty part just beyond the last audio tail.
Solo each track along with the empty part, making sure no parts are selected. Then use "File->Mixdown to audio file" to create a WAV of the track. Repeat for each track (give each file a numbered, meaningful name: 01_Lead_Vocals.WAV etc.).
You might want to compress the files with FLAC if they're large.
