Dunno if we're Major... but we have a booth at 5.1 D19. The first time doing presentation shows of Samplitude & Sequoia, showing new program facilities, tricks, the plugins etc. Gonna be funCompyfox wrote:Germany without one of it's major German software/hardware firm?

Do my eyes really spot Jayney as the cover girl?Urs wrote:Yo, the U-HE booth this time is *next* to Best Service, at A75. It'll most likely look a bit like a newspaper stand. That's because we'll have a funky fake newspaper:

I do hope you don't get in trouble when you show the 'adult edition' by mistake

A lot of people will find it offensive. Not so much because of the sexual bits... It opens up a new dimension of endorsement that makes the typical statements look pale
Btw, Sascha, do you come to Jayney's gig on Friday?

Oh, I didn't know about that. When exactly? Where?Urs wrote: Btw, Sascha, do you come to Jayney's gig on Friday?
I haven't decided yet, but I suppose I'll leave around 6pm. Depends on the transport medium... you know, the strike... wonder whether airport strikes, too then... crazy. At the moment, you can be lucky that you don't have to leave the house every morning...

I said "Germany without one of it's major German..." actually. With pointing fingers towards NI. I mentioned in another post that Magix is indeed there. Heh, it's still if we actually look at the early and still leading host market, with the exception of Digidesign as they're americans, but Steinberg Cubase/Nuendo, eMagic Logic, Magix Samplitude/Sequoia, Germany actually made it all possible back in the day and the rest of the world went all haywire over it.sascha wrote:Dunno if we're Major... but we have a booth at 5.1 D19. Anyway, looking forward to the booth, Sascha. I always wanted to see Sequoia in action. And will you present AM|MUNITION there, too? Or is it still in development?
And why fly if there's the ICE. Then again, if I wouldn't get sick traveling with it, but it's still faster (and cheaper) than flying from Nuremberg to Frankfurt Airport not to mention getting from there to central Frankfurt by train and back. Unless you're stuck somewhere else in the world at the moment.

It's available since v10 and is heavily used by our pro customers.Compyfox wrote: Anyway, looking forward to the booth, Sascha. I always wanted to see Sequoia in action. And will you present AM|MUNITION there, too? Or is it still in development?
I will show the whole plugin range at Messe (in fact we will split it up, whoever is available, but I#m going to show at least ammo).
Yes, I prefer the 'Sprinter' myself, too. Takes less than by plane from Berlin, at least with less hassle. But the conductors' strike is announced for next week, in case you haven't heard. We already have some trouble here in Berlin as subway & busses are standing still. The trains that still go look like Tokio metros. Gonna be fun next week if no solution with the labour union gets found... I mean the thing is idle for a year now. Sigh.Compyfox wrote: And why fly if there's the ICE.

VST seperately available someday? It's not in the packs if I can remember.sascha wrote:It's available since v10 and is heavily used by our pro customers.

Okies... back to english now.
Anyone else attending mayhaps?

Uhm... should we start some sort of "stalking <insert name here> for dummies" thing with mugshots and the like?
Or use the advantage of surprise and simply pop up at the U-HE booth, while yelling "dudes! Is <insert name of person> here?!".

Nö, das Streckennetz ist schon okay hier, da hat sich in den letzten Jahren eine Menge getan. Vor allem Abends/Nachts und am Wochenende hat sich das verbessert.Compyfox wrote: Wait, sorry for the German folks, but...

Yeah, sorry for non-German folks. We were just talking about how public life gets affected when people are on strike, depending on where you live. There are places in the world where terrorists bring a nation to their knees. In Germany, we don't need such, we manage to do that on our own. We're good at that

Additional to the "terror fear spreading" by our government, but this is way too off topic.
Anyway... I really hope I can board the train on thursday and travel to Frankfurt without problems. Else I go nuts, cause I have the tickets already.

Personally, I'm a big fan of the Germans. In fact, Europeans are a vibrant lot who are obviously leading the way in DSP technology, IMHO.
Don't blame us for your perceived shortcomings of the Crysonic line.
I've got nothing to sell...am I on the right site?
