Ok so i'm on a drum preset mission. I'm labeling it the "EB-dr-series".
I'm starting off creating classic TR inspired Drum/Cymbal sounds.
The 1st is the hardest to create and unfortunately the most under-whelming :?
"the Cymbal" not the hat thats not a problem but the Ride type sound. So i went for my favorite the 808 for inspiration. I have based my design on the 808. Let me say that again "based" not recreate.
This is the layout i used for my base (808).

Pretty interesting! I had to turn the volume down a bit, but I wouldn't have guessed that one would get a cymbal like that from square wave oscillators!

This is true. Some great stuff in these write ups. I also got some tuning advice from Mike over at http://www.audiorealism.se Being that he did a amazing job with his ADM, he knows the 808 kind of cymbal more then most.

Sorry about the vol i uploaded the wrong preset. The new one is better. This one has a comp to bring out the ping and level out the vol a bit.
