Thanks for your nice feedback! We will add fine-tuning of the modulation parameters and a stereo function to our wishlist.

What already can be done is to go back to the default value by STRG-clicking the modulation parameters.

I just uploaded a second Alpha of FilterShaper:

Changes:

- Added control for master volume.
- Some buttons to choose the wave instead of a menu.
- There is a new button next to each LFO wave. Click on it and the chosen wave gets shown in the wave window.
- Minor layout changes.

The plugin can crash in some hosts, such as in energyXT. This is not fixed yet.

Currently the filters are always processed serial, but we have optional parallel routing and filter pan on the wish list.

really nice...i really like it.

works nice in psycle

in renoise it has some issues...the plug loads ok but :

- the audio is not processed

- when i tweak a knob with the mouse the mouse pointer keeps being shown

- when i ie click the predefined sine waveform button, nothing happens.

- when i add dots to the patterns no lines are shown...i just see the dots...guess this is the same issue as the previous one.

suggestions :

- when sending a value to the vst parameter "LFO 1 WAV" (even if the same value as the one currently set) , the envelope would be retriggered. this would be nice to sync the envelope start to certain points in your music sequence.

- the cutoff freq. knob could show the values in Hz. (and optionally in musical notes). the current 0 to 1 is not much useful.

- the LFO depth in the mod matrix could be shown semitones / octaves

- a note grid in the envelope so that you can play melodies with the filter cutoff ?

- beside the current envelope edit functions (which are great) there could be two more buttons to cycle the whole envelope to right and to the left.

cant think of anything else now....its pretty close to perfect

A nice idea. Currently, the LFOs always stay in sync with your host sequencer, also if you switch used waves. We should not loose that by changing waves, but maybe it would be good to have a button "Retrigger" that can be automated. I will add this to our wish list.

Yep, I think there is a good chance we will do this with a minor update.

So having the x-values of the wave divided by 2, and then mirrored to the right?

Yep, addresses in the error box will change with new versions. It is most likely Steffen, who develops the plugins with me, who can fix this bug. So we need to wait some more days, maybe 1-2 weeks to address this and hopefully get it run safely in hosts such as energyXT and Renoise.
