I finally just got around to testing FilterShaper and it's really well thought out, and can do some really nice tricks. I am worried, though, that most people are not like me (like to fiddle with lots of little screens and options) and that the learning curve might be a little daunting. Which is not to say that I agree. I just see a lot of amazing tools overlooked. Not the least are the last 2 plug-ins you made.
By the way, I couldn't get FilterShaper to crash FL, Reaper or Usine.
I rather liked the random waves option
