Audio dropouts / Uniwire disabling etc.

Since getting our Receptor in July we've had nothing but problems. I've been in a discussion with support for over three months and am curious to know if other users are experiencing the same problems. Outside of random restarts the two key things are:

1) Audio stops playing in Logic. Basically we can see the audio in the Receptor window, but it just stops playing in Logic. This happens tonnes and usual a full restart is required of both machines to reset it.

2) Uniwire disables. Some plugs seem to cause a conflict with Uniwire resulting in it losing communication with Receptor. Only disabling the problem plugs seems to work.

Our setup is a 8 Core Intel Mac Pro with 9GB RAM / 2x UAD. Powercore Firewiree and Apogee Symphony.

We have tried disabling various hardware items including the 2nd ethernet port but to no avail.

I can't get rid of the dropouts using uniwire.

Same here. We have two Receptors, latest hardware rev, using Logic. Nothing we do eliminates the drop-outs with Uniwire.

I have the same problem.
but I get nice results with uniwire if I use it as a EFX rack.
as for synths...........I turn audio off and use uniwire for midi only.
then dump to audio when I like the takes.

This might be a specific Mac software problem.

In my experience Macintosh Remote VNC and UniWire are unstable compared to the Windows versions which seem rock solid. Hopefully an update will make things better.

That means the Receptor itself is probably OK!
