Hi Urs
Is it possible to get a more steady sync on the MSEG. It dosen't hardsync in Cubase SX 3 so i have to retrigger the gate on each bar to have the MSEG pattern staying within the host sync.
Here is an example of what i mean:
http://www.synthtronic.com/demos/mseg_sync.mp3
Notes triggered on each bar stays within sync but notes held down for longer period start speeding up. It can be handy for some thing but i would prefer to have the MSEG dead on sync, then i could make the variation on speed myself by drawing envelopes a tiny bit before and after a beat. As it is now its not good for pattern based envelopes longer than a bar.
By hard on sync i mean the MSEG follows the host beat even if it mean playing from now on and into eternity.
Anyways, i'd like to hear what other people experience is with MSEG patterns longer than a bar.

Funny thou, the arp dont seem to have this problem. But LFO1-4 and MSEG only use an estimate of host sync. Have not tried Global LFO yet.

There's either hard sync or adjustable rate, but never both at once (Zebra1 had both at once which was a support disaster - I can elaborate next week). The MSEGs and LFOs may drift a bit, but certainly only a few ticks in a couple of minutes (hundreds of bars). If it's more than that I'll look into it.

Ok well its m o r e
and i have a feeling you already know that i prefer hard sync heh heh
Deal is, a hard synced envelope pattern can be adjusted to drift slightly if i wanted but will not work the other way round.
Anyways, if we got hard sync and a soft something on the MSEG to avoid the click then i would be i envelope heaven
Hmm and more envelope markers to put in and hmmm an option for setting MSEG to go both pos and negative and erhmm ohh well. I'm grateful for Zebra2 present state, i know you will get around to everything eventually
