I can't believe this plugin passed through almost unnoticed since its release and remains still completely underrated. I discovered it almost by accident when i was crawling through the KVR's plugins database hood in search for a decent electronic wahwah effect. When i heard the demo sounds i fell in love with it and i enjoy using this plugin every day, i think it is the only VST plugin with unique capabilities of processing sound giving very close sound results to the what does moogfooger "Ring mod" and "Low pass" filters do. I love it's depth of sound processing and applying electronic crazy wah effects and as well the possibility of control you can have on them. I love using WOW on guitars, bass, electric piano and clavinet instruments. If you are looking to get that stevie wonder-like funky keyboard wah sound from the 70"s, this plugin is a must have. And so far, i don't know anything equal to it.

Tone2 FIlterBank (does more for cheaper) or AtlantisFIlter (which is free), no ?

What's so special about it ?

Sound quality matters more than features and price IMO.

None of those have as good overdrive and formant options...

Plus if you're not a fan of Sugar Bytes... Why are you in the Sugar Bytes support forum?

I love the sound of WOW... I just don't have the spare coin yet...

Hey, relax :
- i was just curious, not intending to be rude with anyone : i saw the thread in the "latest posts column", that's all. Is the Sugar Bytes forum private ? Is it forbidden to ask questions ? Is a forum only for praise and promotion ? Is wondering or expressing questions a bad thing ?
- I have never said i was NOT "a SugarBytes fan", or else i would have just skipped the thread without wondering what made the OP so interested in a product which is not unique feature-wise : maybe that it sounds better, maybe the interface is well thought, etc. I just asked in order to know : is there anything wrong with that ?

What's so special about it ?
that was the question.

That is a sensible answer.

Thanks for the answer, and chill a bit.

So, did I. In fact, I never once stopped to think, "Gee, am I in the right forum?" Will I be accepted in the tight-knit group of...tight-knit groupies? Instead, I saw a post and pounced on it, simply put. In fact, I'll do it, again, with no regard whatsoever to as what particular forum I might be...trespassing in.

In addition, a valid point was raised- is this just forum of praise for products for sale? Surely, not! :P

Stay out of the "Latest Posts" section, if you don't want intruders! Oh, and, enjoy life. :D
I've got nothing to sell...am I on the right site?

lol :D

I didn't mean that to come off so "get out"...

I just meant, it's kind of rude to advertise for competitor's products in a company forum... I would have phrased it "what exactly sets this filter apart from others?" rather than saying things about other companies giving "more stuff for less money"
