This is approximately the new GUI, what about the size? Maybe it's too big for some monitor,
please let me know,

resized now at 95%, it was really too big

Awesome.

It's a bit huge I guess if your rez is 1024, but mine is 1600x1440 so I don't mind this one. Btw did you do the graphic work yourself ?
Also, I really liked the first one, do you have audio mp3 available ?

mp3 of the new version 2? No not yet. But I try to post soon an example of the Double string, that's cool.

Graprhic design is made in team: me with Branis.

Thanks

It's big, but so's a harp!
Surely there must be consensus by now...

That's to mean: keep it? <grin>

maybe 95% of it is enough

Cool.

Size is fine on my monitor (1280 x 1024) but I think widescreen monitors start at 900 vertical or maybe lower.

You'll have to get someone to confirm that but it may mean having to scroll the GUI with the taskbar at the bottom of the screen and the sequencer controls at the top.

Its definitely too big for the 800x480 screen Im viewing it from :hihi:

It wouldnt bother me on my DAW, though, but I can imagine some people might find it too large, at least heightwise. If you needed to shrink it down, I'd suggest its just addressing the height; eg moving the 'shaping type' to the 'logo' middle section, which is kinda unused space, and shrink the effects section knobs and the sliders somewhat.

Pretty sure you can recover space by removing vertical space between the upper buttons here :

You might also resize the whole GUI at 95% but if you do so, consider using more readable fonts (ie. sharper/brighter and not italic). On the other hand, I think italic looks cool here... except for the Shaping type presets names !

Post

yes thanks, just now resized now at 95% and reuploaded, it was really too big, for the knobs also,
then I will work on the vertical things you suggest.

Post

ah, yes, the fonts too need to be improved

Post

I don't mind the vertical so much as the wooden adornments on the outside. Just the brushed metal rectangle, which looks nice and classy, is fine.

I see, and added a poll

Yea I have to agree, the wooden border is not essential. Not that I dislike it, but it also looks good without.

The writing in tilted stripes is kind of hard for me to read.
I think the light brown over darker brown background should be a little brighter, except at the buttom where it looks fine.
The NUSofting and HarpTime max logos should be a little darker, because it would just look better :).

ok, thanks, please check this
