Hey all,
As the title implies. Just gets to the splash screen and hangs. Also cannot access the receptor from receptor remote. Havent installed anything new or changed the configuration. Tech support suggested clearing the plugin cache (holding down multi button while booting) but this hasnt done anything. Not heard from them since so i need some help. This comes just after our other receptor's power supply failed. Not having a good run! Any ideas? Just sent the other unit to get repaired in states (im in australia). Its a shame that the receptor can only be repaired in the US. Any plans for OS distributors to be allowed to do repairs, if they can handle it?
Thanks,
Jim

When I first got my Receptor, I had this problem. It turned out that it was because I had a PS2 keyboard and a USB mouse plugged in. The BIOS apparently doesn't work nicely with this configuration, so if it fits you, it might be the issue.Atardecer wrote:Hey all,

Unfortunately no i dont have anything connected. When i did have keys and mouse connected it worked fine anyway. Back to the drawing board im afraid. I have no idea why it would just suddenly start doing this. It has always been fairly unstable mind you - random crashes and the like. Not really the rock solid device you would expect from something thats meant for live use.
