Ah - so that's why it never worked properly! Cool to see something to rant about in XT1 these days...

thnx
Beyond the obvious multiple sequencer being made to work, it means the program code will be more efficient.

This kind of fix might even reduce those random memory errors/crashes that sometimes happen.

Anyone using the sequencer should have improved reliability in general.

Yeah, I'm doing it in the hope that Jorgen avoids the same mistake this time - looking at the development of XT2 so far I'd say once it's there it'll rather likely take ages until it gets improved, so it would be good if he got it right from the start.

Besides I find it interesting to see what even a mad genius like Jorgen is occassionally capable of. :hihi:

I exactly don't have problems in this thread, like someone. Was this thread about "Coming Next"? I really exited when see in the Latest Posts it updating, but after checking it.... :borg: :bang:

Post

Yes, this thread is about what's coming next.

The most recent entry in the changelog is:
- Added support for normalize audio files
as djsubject already mentioned on the previous page of this thread.

And normalization is what we've then been talking about, so I'm not really sure what you mean...

...I suspect though, that it's a langauge barrier, either on your end or on mine.

Post

- Added support for normalize audio files
- Duplicate sequencer could sometimes cause a crash, now fixed
- Back space now works also as delete
- Fixed bug with Back space and delete key on MacOSX
- MIDI playback only worked on first arrangement in sequencer, now fixed

Seriously? I have been busy and haven't had a chance to check stuff out here in a while. This is ALL that has been done? I hate to say it, but a year after its public release, eXT2 is still no more useful than any freeware sequencer out there. Well, consider me another lost customer. Maybe I'll check back in another year and see if 2 or 3 more keyboard shortcuts have been added.

:)

I had a (somewhat tongue in cheek) target date of 2012 for xt2 being useful again, but at this rate, I don't even think that will happen... I can't remember the last time a user FR or suggestion was implemented either.

But I'm happy with reaper, just come here occasionally for kicks and giggles.

Its here! :hyper:

Coming next:
- You can now add VSTs from right-click in mixer

'...in mixer'?

Edit2:
In now says:
'...on FX slots in mixer'
So no need anymore for rolling my eyes.

Edit1:
I hope we will also get a 'Recent' in sequencer soon, which would be much more valueable for me than 'Add', since the browser is good enough for me to search for plugins.

hmmm...interesting. for all intents and purposes, I would have preferred a "nothing else until multicore" type attitude, as i know its high on the list, on both ends im sure, but sometimes i guess some things need to be fixed before others can.

cpu performance/multi-core support!! come on XT HQ you can do it!!!!!!!
