Twin Dash Player UB compatible?

Hello,

I stumbled across the Dash Signature: HQS Volume 4 - Mellotronix yesterday. Checked out all the demos and quite like what I heard. Obviously I'm in the market for some Mellotron sounds and this would fit the bill quite nicely. However...

On the above page, just to the right of the image of the GUI, it states, "(TDP is currently available as Windows VSTi only. Players which currently support Mac OS X are EVE 2 and Many One)".

However, on this page, under the Dash Sound Libraries section, it indicates in the compatibility lane to the right of the title that Melltronix (w/ Twin Dash Player included) is Mac-friendly, i.e., available as an AU for UB.

I'm confused. Is Mellotronix in and of itself Mac-ready as an AU or no, or would I need to purchase EVE v2.0 and then get Mellotronix as an add-on for that?

To further complicate the matter, I have the (very cool ) free/demo version of EVE 2. Would it load Mellotronix, or is loading additional presets, etc. as such a function that is enabled only in the licensed version of EVE 2? (I'd be totally good with buying the licensed version of EVE 2 if this proves to be the case, I'm just seeking clarification of my options here.)

sorry for the late reply,

Mellotronix is marked Mac UB in the NUSofting Shop for it's a HQS Sound Library which can be played with EVE 2, which is a Dash Sound instrument compatible with any Mac computer. <wink>

So your guess is correct, to play Mellotronix on a Mac you need to purchase EVE v2.0 (only EUR 59.00 and it includes two libraries: EVE Default, and A0S)

No worries about the delay and I appreciate the clarification. Looks like I'll be saving my nickels and dimes for a proper/licensed version of EVE 2. I'm also tempted to grab a couple of the other add-ons in addition to Mellotronix so this could get somewhat expensive.
