Pretty quiet around here

I just realized it's been pretty quiet in the U-He forum. That must mean that Urs is hard at work coding away and will be releasing Filterscape (?) or another Zebra version (?) very soon. Maybe with a few surprise new features like he always does.

I'm actually quite grateful for some silence.
There's a shitload of work, and sometimes I don't know where to start, especially not with 3+ hours of emails/support a day. RTAS is one thing, as is Filterscape and further Z2 improvements. In a few months I hope to have Z2.5, MFM2.x and FS1.5 where good old FS1.1 has been for years: No real need for updates, happy customers, loads of hit singles (pars pro toto, I also enjoy zebrified/filterscaped submissions in the music cafe or anywhere else where music is heard). This would be an ideal state to invent something new. Such as drum thing, dynamics thing, modular thing. And eventually some time to create the user-web /w patch area (which fortunately wasn't so urgent lately thanks to bmrzycki)
Oh... and finally... I'm spending some leisure time on making music and brickfilm animations... it has to be... seriously... I need to spend more time on the creative/musical side rather than on code alone... how else would I know about musician's needs...?
Yes, a bit of silence is wonderful!

If the task seems a bit daunting and there's no light in the end of tunnel there's always stuff like this to cheer you up and renew your energy.

Good for you! You need to spend some time doing this. After all, I'm sure making music is what got you into this business in the first place.(?)Urs wrote: Oh... and finally... I'm spending some leisure time on making music and brickfilm animations...
All work and no play makes Urs a dull boy!
btw: what in hell is a brickfilm animation?
edit: Ahhh. Google is my friend...I get it now...Legos.

There are actually so many crap brick movies out there and so few good ones... I've been toying with 3 rough ideas for more than a year now, I think it's about time to realize them - hopefully being able to reach the latter category...bk wrote:btw: what in hell is a brickfilm animation?

I was thinking of going the other way - To buy a Virus TI to go along with my Zebra. I could at least use the knobs for real time control...
