Can't understand how the sends could actually be leaky in a digital host. Never experienced something like this in any other software. Its just so weird :hihi:

A few questions: Mac XT2...

1. The Mac version doesn't have reverse on slices on Rex2's???

2. The built-in FX doesn't seem to work on some presets in Sampler? I can get it to work on the built-in oscillator, but not on some samples??? How's that work anyway? If you open a saved preset, does it fix the FX?

3. I guess you can't right click to delete stuff currently, huh?

All the new features mentioned would be very nice indeed... especially the drum machine enhancements. That's a feature waiting to be kick-ass! Not sure if some of this stuff just isn't in the Mac version?

Onward! :)

1) could you post a new thread BR: about this? it might have slipped through the net,

2) could you also post a thread about this for others to check out, i have not noticed this on windows,

3) what are you trying to right click delete? works here on windows with vst's,

it could just be its not yet on mac, but its worth putting out there for more testing :)

All synthesis parameters are applied per zone basis. This includes the effects. The built-in synth engine uses only a single zone, so that's why it appears to work on that but not the samples. You are probably only sending the currently selected sample zone to the effects. "Edit All" doesn't seem to work with the fx. I can make all of the effects work for each sample independently.

Ah Ha! Thanks Scott... and Yes I was working with the (great) presets you did for XT2. Er, I'm assuming you did them. I'm surprised (impressed) how good the sampler can sound in XT2. If the Drum track/Sampler had a few things added, you could just about do everything in XT2. I'm liking it a lot. I noticed some stuff doesn't work on the Mac version that is listed on the website... Does anyone ever respond to questions on the Beta forum???

Still trying to figure some of this out! :?:

Yeah, I did those presets on the site (thanks for the compliment  ). Look through this forum to find some more (near the date of the initial release of XT2), including drum track versions of the drum patches, more PPG and an improved Hammond.

The Mac version is catching up fast. I've been quite pleased with XT2 on my Mac... XT2 was one reason I replaced my studio PPC G5 with an Intel. I have Cubase 4 and Logic Studio, but I find I am opening XT2 more often than either, particularly in the early stages of composition when I need sounds while the inspiration is nearing the boiling point... 8)

I hope that the 2.08 beta is out as soon as possible and then the final 2.08 could possibly be released exactly 2 months after 2.07! :P

So curious about the new drum editor!

If 'loop-locators now snap according to the snap settings' and similar issues would get fixed too in that release I wouldn't mind to wait longer though.

Also the problems with new linux distros should be adressed in that version for sure.

Cheers,
Patrik
