Have I told you yet how your soundbank sends me into swirling realms of ecstasy? I thought nothing could give me greater joy in life than your factory presets for Zebra, until Zebra Science entered my life and touched my soul more deeply than it's ever been touched before.

Howard,

I met my fiancee while listening to your patches, and we plan to name our first child "Howard" in your honor.

 :hihi:

Okay-okay-okay!! End of offer already. Only negative reports from now on, please.

The best 5 i.e. the ones that warmed the cockles of my heart (or gave me a chuckle = Echo Voodoo, tboulette, djsubject:hihi:) will get some extra sounds soon. Gimme a few days to do this, OK?

You mean it worked? Woohoo!

I don't recall a song I've made in the past several months that doesn't have either a Howard or a Michael patch in it somewhere (and sometimes both). It's like guaranteed sound satisfaction.

I hadn't taken the time to stop back and comment after getting the collection several weeks ago, and I have to commend you, Howard - this is some beautiful work. These kinds of sounds are the reason I drop Zebra into my sessions more often than any other plugin - genuinely useful patches that actually work in a mix. Not just one-finger presets and stuff that eats up the whole mix, but musical sounds that encourage writing all the parts from scratch and actually playing them by hand instead of relying on gimmicks.

I ended up using several of these patches on the last song I recorded, including one of the Minimoog-esque patches for bass, one of the Virus emulations for a comping part on which I would normally have played piano, and one of the other patches (I forget which) run through the ELS Vocoder for some unusual swells and atmospheres.

Sorry for the delay - got other things on my plate right now i.e. rehearsing for a "release party" for my local band's first CD.

(BTW: any Frankfurt/Main-ers here?)

please tell me, how many total files/presets should there be in the SCIENCE folder?

I don't know how, but I had the individual folders duplicated (bassics, leaders etc. 2x) so I merged them and now I have 738 presets in SCIENCE. Does that sound right?

I just want to make sure I didn't lose any presets. yeah, i'm AR, but what the f**k, I paid for them

Hi politcat...
There should be 242 sounds in the Science folder (as stated in the picture and accompanying text at u-he-com)

242*2 = 584. How did you manage to "duplicate", and how did you come up with 738 i.e. how did you count those files?
