I made This track with vokator many moons ago...
Just put your vocal on a audio track and insert vokator.
then open a midi track , on the input choose your 'midi keyboard' on the output choose ' vokator'
now you can vocode in realtime by playing your keyboard.
Easy....
PS remember once you press play in your sequencer you wont hear the vocal until you hit some keys on your keyboard...

Hey there, nice track! Is the female vocal at the end a female, or formant+pitch shifted of your own?CANE CREEK wrote:I made This track with vokator many moons ago...

I could be wrong but I don't think it does work on Receptor unless you installed it as part of a Komplete package. I don't know if the authorization procedure will work for the vokator install by itself.

thanks guy, that's exactly what I needed! got it running now, and may try to use it live for fridays gig.
I did have it installed, by Muse, as part of Komplete 4, and part of that installation is a bunch of Komplete banks for the various instruments. Strangely, all the Vokator patches have it as an instrument, not as an fx plug in. I might be missing something but could only get it to work when loading an audio file as the carrier when used as an instrument.
thanks!
