Ethnic Plug-ins

Hello all:

I haven't yet bought a Receptor - I'm trying to work out if it will do what I need to yet - and there are a couple of plug-ins that I'm wondering if anyone has successfully installed:

- Best Service Ethno World 3 Complete (a Kompakt instrument);
- Best Service Ethno World 4 Complete (a Kontakt Player 2 instrument);
- MotU Ethno Instrument.

Of course, I know that various other Kompakt instruments seem to run - such as East West things and GPO - but I haven't seen any reference to the Ethno World ones.

Does anyone know if they'll work?

Sometime back the Muse folks told me that the MOTU Symphonic Instrument would not work on Receptor, so I assume the Ethno won't work either. The Kontakt 2 instrument should work fine.

Perhaps you could look at East West RA, it works great on receptor and sounds good too!

He's not talking about Ethno, but EthnoWorld, a multi-dvd lib that originally ran on Gigastudio. I see no reason why the Kompact version of 3 wouldn't play, it's just another library. The v4 VI may be a different challenge, though. Maybe yes, maybe no - I haven't tried it, but I have run a number of Giga libs through Kontact without too much trouble (no more than running it on one of my PCs...)
