Currently it is not yet possible to connect/use all inputs or outputs at the same time, it's stereo only at the moment.

But in a future version, MU.LAB will offer more options!

Jo, along those same lines; is it right that the modular plug area right now doesn't sort out multi ins or outs?

For example, I'm trying to use CompressiveCM it has two inputs allowing for the first input to be the instrument sound to be compressed based on a sidechained signal coming in as the second input. The modular area just shows them both going to a common input. As such it doesn't seem to get a sidechained compression going.

Meanwhile Sidekick which keeps tract of its signals outside of the Mu.Lab signal routing, does seem to result in a sidechained effect. (but confuses me as to just what is going on)

Does a way to route to a specific input of a multi-input plug exist already? If not might that be worked into a future version.

MU.LAB (and so the MPA) can work with plugins that have multiple ins and outs, both audio and midi.

I've plugged in Compressive CM in the MPA and it properly shows up with 2 stereo inputs. (the 2 red triangles on top).

The first audio in will be for the real audio signal, the second audio input for the sidechain signal.

I'm not sure what you mean with "The modular area just shows them both going to a common input".

One weird thing with Compressive CM in MU.LAB: the editor window stays black here on my WinXP system. That to be researched.

Hi Jo

I wrote CompressiveCM - have you got the 'resource' folder in the same directory as the dll file? If not, then that may be why the GUI is not showing up as the 'resource' folder contains the images. If this doesn't work or you have any questions then feel free to email/PM me :)

Hi Caco,

Yes that was indeed the reason, thanks!

Now working perfectly :)

Cheers,

Jo
