OK, so not so good right now: when I reloaded my project, I got "could not reload all parameters" message for each previously-inserted instance, but they all seem OK. I guess that's a new parameter or something?
Anyway, insert a compressor on a mono track and the level drops way down, and my CPU goes up near maximum! Actually, it's just the feed-foward, so whatever you did just then, you might want to undo it.
Thanks for taking care of it! if I don't respond, it's because I've gone to sleep, and I can help more tomorrow. Can any Cubase users verify this problem, or is it my crappy system?

Hmmm I have tested in Live, Bidule, & Reaper all seem to be working fine. If anyone else with cubase could confirm this it would help. Will have to continue with this tomorrow i need sleep as well. More cubase fun to come.. Well atleast everyone got a CH-link out of this so far..

Also load up my multiband that is based around 3 FF's
In theory that shouldn't work for you. If it does welll we have some vodoo to figure out.

Sigh. Guess what? I tried all your compressors; just the feed-forward. Voodoo, here we come!

As i was laying in bed i realized that every host i use treats all tracks as stereo even for mono audio. I'm thinking cubase might do otherwise. Even tho they should still work as is maybe cubase has issues with stereo plugs & mono tracks. Whatever it is i just made Mono versions. If this is the problem this should fix it. This is good for all users actually, if you know your only going to need a mono compressor use the mono version & save some CPU cycles.

Thanks vieris! You rule. I'll check it out in the morning. Maybe some Cubasers can chime in in the meantime.

Sounds cool! Thanks.
Edit: ran em through on drums, sidechained a synth, and on vocals. I like them.

Update:
Added a stereo channel Link/Unlink (CH-Link)
How it works -
When checked - both Left&Right are compressed evenly based on the overall peaks in the signal.
When unchecked - Left&Right are processed individually. (Example: say you have a kick&snare panned hard left/right & you don't want the kick peaks on the left to change the snare on the right. #2 if you have a cranked hard left panned guitar solo that you want to compress without bringing down the volume of the right channel.

Nice. Have been to busy working on them (& some other extremely colored comp ides) to really sitdown and have some fun with em. Looking forward to some drum SCing.RunBeerRun wrote:Sounds cool! Thanks.

It is done in syntheditbrok landers wrote:hey, you got me curious now ... !

Nothing neccesarily wrong with synthedit but i often get strange CPU spikes from stuff made in it but YMMV.
Before anybody flames me I am just stating my experience on my system and not saying that happens for everyone
Right time to change the subject and get back to the compressor
EDIT - Are the original Bidule versions available?

SE with 3rd party modules. They have been solid in Live, Bidule, & Reaper.. Cubase is in question at the moment..coops2 wrote:It is done in syntheditbrok landers wrote:hey, you got me curious now ... !
