Running Ivory/Receptor live..

Hey . Thx 4 reply...assuming it can be authorized...I like Scarbee and will probably put it on the Rec in the future, right now Im covered on rhodes...I am interested in the Bluthner Dig 1...does anyone here use this plug on the Rec? What does it take to make this work on the Muse? Assuming it can be authorized...what does it take to get it authorized? Piano plugs should all be authorized, its the standard instrument..The Rec has to be able to keep in step w/these plugs..I know guys who are running Bluthner live w/a Macbook..

I'm also interested in the Bluthner. A few months ago I contacted Muse regarding this and at that time no one (at Muse) had tried it yet. The Bluthner folks were also unsure whether or not it would run on Receptor - being a Kontakt Library it should, but the authorization thing seems to be the question. The Sampletek libraries work without problems but do not require authorization. I have not wanted to invest the money until I know it will work. If anyone gets it running please post, there seems to be interest.

Its cool that u contacted the companies regarding the Bluthner, not cool that theyre not sure if it will work, although I would def install it in my recording setup also, but to justify the expense I need it to work on both platforms. I want a choice of piano's on the Rec, and piano, being such an important instrument in so many styles of music should be given some consideration over plugs that simply are not that good...especially now that there are some good samples out there..as far as the stuff that came on the Rec, well...lets just say I would prefer to see them work on getting some of these new piano's authorized...
Sometimes it makes me question my decision as to whether I shouldve got a Macbook instead of the Rec..

Since you have Kontakt2, check out SampleTekk. Their pianos are pretty awesome. I really like TBO, 7CG and Black Grand. Vertikal is also excellent.
