Yes perhaps I should try with older versions of Zebra. Can I download them somewehre?

Crash occurs only in eXT 1.4 & 2, not in Tracktion 2 or Reaper.

The only common points between my two machines that I can think of is that they're on XP Pro, and that they have almost the same VST folder organization (divided into effects, samplers, synths, and most synths, including Zebra, have their own folder too.)

eXT 1.4 & 2 are installed on both machines. That's all I can think of for now.

Urs, would it help if I provided you with the crash report I get from Windows?

thanks

its only you (so far) thats having this problem, but its on two PC's :o
I can reproduce the crash, using eXT 1.4 and Zebra 2.2. PC is running WinXP.

I tested using Zebra hosted internally by eXT's sequencer, and hosted in the modular view. I also tested with automation supplied by the midi part component and the sequencer. It crashed multiple times in both cases. Regardless if notes were playing or not.

However, the midi automation data needed to be really dense. With sparse automation data, there weren't any crashes. (Only opened and closed the GUI about 6 times).

Also I couldn't reproduce the crash if I was automating Zebra via my midi keyboard, regardless of how fast I jiggled my knob. ()

Thanks for testing; I feel less alone....Since at the moment I'm also experiencing odd problems with another synth, I was beginning to think I might be cursed :help:

Thanks Subz. I'm glad it's working fine for you!

Is it possible you're using the same audio interface on both? Maybe you could try the ASIO4All drivers on your stock interface, just to see if that helps isolate the problem down further...

Post

On one computer I use Asio4all, on the other one I have an M-Audio Delta Audophile. The crash occurs on both computers.
