Dear Bleu Cat,

after reading your article about Remote Control 2.0 i was very happy that finaly someone has come up for the sollution of my problem :P
I use a JP-8000 as a remote controller, but unfortunatly i can't re-program hit's controllers for, let say, ReFX Nexus.

So after installation in my Cubase SX3 VST folder and reading the (not so obvious) manual i tried to hook up the plugin in my projects.
Unfortunatly i have absolutly no idea how i can get it to work :(

I did insert it on an empty audiotrack.
Then I opened a new midichannel to choose the Remote as an output so i can control its Inputs (midi learn and everything works) but how can I get it to output to let's say Nexus?

Do i have to load it into an insert slot in the Nexus audio channel?

So what i want is to control Nexus plus some other VSTi's (preferable at the same time at once for layering) with my JP-8000.

Please give me a clear awnser how to do this!

Hi,

thanks for your interest in our plugins. Did you check our remote control tutorials? (the last one should help you). For MIDI output setup specifically to Cubase, this Tutorial for DPMP in Cubase should also help (it's not for the Remote Control but the setup is exactky the same).

I hope it will show you the way. If you still have a hard time configuring your host please tell me.

yes i checked these tutorials but i didn't get it i'm affraid.

i tried every way but i cant get the Remote to send out midi data to Nexus.

Do you have a textual tutorial on how to connect the remote control and how to use it as a midicontroller remapper in Cubase?

I realy hope you can help me :)

Thanks in advance,

Hi,

sorry for the delay. In order to have the Remote Control output linked to the input of your VSTi, you need to create a midi track. On this MIDI track, select the Remote Control as an input, and your VSTi as an output.

Hope this helps.

Will let you know if i have any questions...
