Hi, I just bought Effectrix and downloaded it today, so it is the newest version. I loaded it into Live ran a loop through and it sounds great! But, why is it, when i put effects in, any of them, sometime they play through once, then it plays normal once, then effected once, then normal once, ect.... you get the picture hopefully? Like, I put the Stretcher effect on the last four beats and it plays then it loops through again but doesn't play the effect. I don't think it is me, but maybe.

I tried the demo before I bought it, and I think it worked correctly, but, actually I don't remember, or maybe I didn't notice it before. But it is weird.

Thanks in advance for any help, and sorry if I posted this in the wrong area. I am a new member as of today. :help:

Hello, we found a bug which has to do with certain AMD processors. We are currently fixing it and will release an update soon, sorry for the inconveniences.

Ok that is fine, I just didn't know if it was me, or I was missing something. Thanks for the quick responses :) and also, will I receive an email about an update, or do I have to keep checking the site?

hey, I recently won the plug through the FutureMusic blog, and I have this very same issue. Glad to hear it's being fixed. At first I thought it had something to do with Energy XT2, glad to hear this isn't the case.

wow!...glad to see this IS a bug...I've been trying to accommodate it as a new feature from the 1.01 update
but it just was not jiving with my workflow
while it DOES open up interesting possibilities, it's way too confusing to work with while it does this "every other pass thru" thing since the visuals don't reflect which fx are gonna play on which pass thru the sequencer (if ya follow... it IS confusing even to explain the issue really!)
Glad you guys are working on a fix as this is a reallllly rockin' tool Image

[edit = spelling. I probably stil missed something...]

cool, sounds like the effectrix is stable. small bugs are expected, just as long as it doesn't crash the environment. I use an apple G5 running OSX 10.4.11. I have the demo installed and I use Ableton Live 7. I must say, i love this plugin, i've been waiting on something like this for the mac for a long time, and it is here, and it ROCKS! It is also light on the CPU, and the quality of the FX are very nice, even the reverb. the programming capability is also amazing. Right now, i've been testing Effectrix running 2 of them on the master channel. I like to use the reverse effect, then the reverb effect, and then on the 2nd effectrix in the chain, i use another reverse effect. This gives me a live reverse reverb effect that I cannot reproduce any other way. This thing is awesome. I'm going to buy it, but sometimes when using it in Ableton Live, it crashes. I don't know if this is because of the Effectrix, and overloading something in the processing, but I would just like to hear from any Mac OSX 10.4.11 users and how stable it is on their system. I still get crashes when using one Effectrix, but like i said, i don't know if it's the effectrix that's even causing it.

any responses would be appreciated very much.
