I think this is already a known issue with some hosts, but the sound clipping/jumping also occurs in Cakewalk Project 5.

This is really disaapointing as there was no warning.

Can we have a confirmed date for a resolution - or a refund?

Regards, Paul.

happens in flstudio too. you can work around it. use a subhost like energyxt or chainer. not perfect, but definitely better than throwing sylenth1 into the trash.

lennard digital had a special offer for chainer where you get it for a discount if you come from a certain link. not sure if that's still going but that's what i did. chainer is worth the money on it's own though without just being used to wedge sylenth1 into another host.

Thanks for the info... hopefully Lennard will re-post the link!

What is chainer by the way? Is it a useful tool generally?

I have to say, despite some slight issues, this synth sounds awsome..!!

yes chainer is a plugin host, that was made to 'chain' plugs together into usable presets of their own.

imagine stacking 4 sylenths - a pad sylenth, a hpf filter sweep, maybe a lead sound, or an fx, and then putting your favorite vst effects after (if you even needed) then saving that 'chain' as a fxp for later instant use.

that's the concept behind chainer. it can do more stuff though, as it has sends, a mixer, preset randomization, and audio recording in it's stand alone mode. it comes as a vst plugin effect and a vst instrument as well as stand alone.

well worth the money i paid. i was using ext to do that stuff before but chainer is much more stable than ext for my rig.
