Not good that you aren't finishing songs... is it something with the software or is it just you and your time/inspiration?

Post

YES! MP3 import/export is a very nice addenda. *ahem*...and to all who refused to +1 this request I made a little ways back, i spit on your XT tracks.

If he's anything like me, it's just him, and inspiration... Sounds like he's still making stuff though, which is a bit ahead of me at this time too, unfortunately...

how will a wav exported in 32 bits and converted/dithered to 16bit in audacity (for example) and then converted to mp3 compare to exporting it in mp3 out of xt2?

Regardless of what crucial things I may believe are missing from XT2 etc. etc. etc. etc.. I definitely can't blame XT2 for not finishing songs.

So I'll take the latter of the options you presented. :)

Happiness is the hidden behind the obvious.

I'm always wanting to export directly to mp3 because I never get to the end of any of my music projects. That doesn't seem to follow - but in fact it makes perfect sense. Because I never finish I'm only ever producing interim snapshots of where I'm up to. As the snapshots are not meant to be of the highest possible quality, they end up being in mp3 format.

So in fact, I would probably use mp3 export more than wave export. :hihi:

exactly what i wanted to say ;)
