Feature PLEA - Delete To Trashcan - Not Permanently

No other lacking Tracktion feature bites my ass like this one.

PLEASE - Update Tracktion so it will send any deleted files to the host computer's Trashcan where they may be recovered.

That's probably not an option. Some stuff, wav files and the like, could clearly go to the bin, but others, such as edits, only have a physical presence if the project is aware of them, so restoring wouldn't really mean anything.

I think in this case, Tracktion probably needs to have its own trashcan proxy, that understands how to recover files, dependancies, and resource links.

It's something that Tracktion could do with though.

I would be satisfied to just have audio and midi that I delete within T sent to the computer's trash and therefore recoverable. But that is an interesting idea - a T Trashcan. That would work too.

Isn't the edit file just a file?
If it is moved out of the folder and then put back in Tracktion will still see it.

Isn't the problem just if you save after the deletion? Then the trk file will lose contact with the file.

I think most of us would be glad to not lose audio or midi files if we accidently delete something.

if audio could go to the trash can that alone would be great, (or just any way to undo when you delete the wrong audio file,)

deleted midi always comes back via undo dose it not?
