Some receptor pro jr question(s)

Hi

I'm currently saving to buy a receptor pro jr and absolutely love the concept of the receptor. However I need to check the following:

1) Will Izotope ozone 3 run on receptor?
2) Will arturia prophet v run on receptor?
3) Will supersaw synth plus run on receptor?
4) Will audjoo helix run on receptor?
5) Will Albino run on receptor?
6) Will Vanguard run on receptor?
7) Will z3ta run on receptor?

And also, is there any software/vst which will run like a midi sequencer/piano roll to control different VST's on receptor, or allow me to record multitrack style from receptors input? This is one feature I'd like to see built in because with the added VGA option it would be the cherry on the cake for me.

Sorry if these questions have already been covered but this forum is extensive and finding answers might be like finding a needle in a haystack.

Best regards

Hello inlspace,

I don't know answers for all, but here you go:

I don't know. KVR database lists as unknown
in1space wrote:2) Will arturia prophet v run on receptor?
No. There are ways to get the legacy arturia plugs (without dongle) to run, but Prophet, Jupiter, and Analog Factory will not run until receptor has synchrosoft support.

4) Will audjoo helix run on receptor?
I Don't know of these.

7) Will z3ta run on receptor?
Yes. There are receptorized installers for each of these. You should be able to find them on plugoramma.com

Hi Kev

Thanks for the reply. I'm delighted to see the last 3 work OK (Albino, Z3ta, Vanguard). I remember that I did note somewhere that superwave works according to the unsupported plugin list, and I guess supersaw synth plus would also - as I think it's the same kind of thing, just better.

I'd be interested to see if anyone can get Helix to work as it's a great sounding synth IMO:

And ozone would be a massive bonus because it's a good low-cost mastering system. Although this uses online activation methods so I guess it wouldn't work. If there is anyone out there who have tried audjoo helix & ozone on receptor with success please let me know.

get a macbook pro

Post

Nahhhh

Mac book pro would be a dream and a very decent investment, but it's too pricey for me (plus all the extras & software etc). I already have a DAW (although to be fair not a patch on a Mac book or even a high end intel). What I like about the receptor is that it's ready to go and by the looks of it most of what I'd want to run will run on the receptor with minimal stress.

Going by the site kevin posted there are some decent plugins which have been adapted to receptor that I'd be quite happy with. I'd have to drop the ozone but all the rest look ok.

As for the sequencing side of things I can just hook up the external sequencer/midi keyboard etc.

SuperSaw PLus works got it on mine! :)

Hi c3boy

Excellent! Not a bad little synth that, but I do find it to be extremely CPU demanding on the PC, but that will be obvious if I told you the spec!

How does it perform on receptor? No problems/latency issues?
