Jo, how's it going? We're all hungry for news (if not a new beta!)... :D

Post

Indeed!
I've tried to be very mature and patient about this... but I can't help it. I wanna know a little somethin'. :help: :)

My guess is that either the sampler is taking quite a while just itself, or this is going to be a rather signifigant update all around. We'll see.

yeah ... not that I do much in the way of music at the moment but I'm curious for the next update! :D

The sampler engine itself is ready.

But there still is 1 main technical related issue to be resolved, then we're in a straight line towards a new beta version.

Estimated time table:

End of may: new beta.
End of june: new release.

Sorry that the new version takes more time than first expected, for various reasons.

Thanks for asking!

wow that must be some sampler.

i agree about being curious of the new updates and such--mu.lab is the only piece of software im curious about these days, except maybe my mpc-1000 3rd party os from japan...

i must say that if multicore support is next, there couldnt be a better pick since we all have those cpus nowdays. this is turning out to be the type of program i want to use, and with multicore in place, use we shall.

i envision a future for mulab where there is great tactile control integrated into the standard computer interface we all have, and further with control surfaces in ways perhaps not yet explored in other software packages. id love a tactile interface where i just pull the strings, and sweeping change happens in the output. maybe assisted by 'smart' processes. heck, i propose a controller matrix!

but enough from me. kudos on the progress jo.
