if you want to try the beta VSTi (Win32) :
http://dashsignature.com/download/addif ... ofting.zip

Addifract Beta - 2008 May 15th - copyright nusofting.com

The date of the DLL files must be 2008 May 15th

This Windows VSTi update adds Chorus - Flanger modulation
and fix the compatibility with Sonar 7.
Moreover you can now load 5 FXP files per session, beside
the default bank which always loads on start.

Addifract Beta can still save FXP files,
please post your feedback and your presets to
NUSofting forum at kvraudio.com, best presets will be rewarded
with the full version.

Please note that Addifract is skinnable and it will look
completely different on release, the current skin is just
to work with it.

Thanks,

Thanks for the excitement,

anyone else?

I don't think I have SS2. What do I need to do to use the vst if I don't have SS2?

Beta works fine. I'll see what I can come up with preset-wise.
We shall see orchestral machines with a thousand new sounds, with thousands of new euphonies, as opposed to the present day's simple sounds of strings, brass, and woodwinds. -- George Antheil, circa 1925 ---

Right, I added a DLL which doesn't need the SSE2
it's inside

Thanks a lot,

BTW for everyone: I see that this is not a standard workhorse synth but I found it's timbre quite interesting and it can be extended, if you tell me what you'd like to have in it

interesting.

how did your experiments with fractal oscillators go?
you come and go, you come and go. amitabha neither a follower nor a leader be tagore "where roads are made i lose my way" where there is certainty, consideration is absent.

actually I haven't found any good sound so far with fractal oscillators,
basically just colored or weird noises,

the use of fractal patterns in LFOs is way more interesting to me, maybe just I can hear the difference to a random pattern, just an easy way to make modulations which are less boring and more musical, at least to me, <grin>

audio rate is likely only interest the niche.

thanx for this,i will test it in renoise tonight

this is a great synth dude!!!! just great!

This is pretty sweet.

I was getting some polyphony intelligence issues though. Holding down a low note while playing a melody will cut off the lower note.
