Addifract Beta - 2008 May 15th - copyright nusofting.com
The date of the DLL files must be 2008 May 15th
This Windows VSTi update adds Chorus - Flanger modulation
and fix the compatibility with Sonar 7.
Moreover you can now load 5 FXP files per session, beside
the default bank which always loads on start.
Addifract Beta can still save FXP files,
please post your feedback and your presets to
NUSofting forum at kvraudio.com, best presets will be rewarded
with the full version.
Please note that Addifract is skinnable and it will look
completely different on release, the current skin is just
to work with it.
Thanks,

Previous:
Here is a synth I started some months ago, needs VST Windows host,
it works quite well but it's not complete, please check it and let me know if it's worth
the development,
the concept is an additive/waveshaping synth with hamonics triggered by fractal LFOs

better you get this also: http://dashsignature.com/download/addifract_update.rar
the question is: is it an interesting ambient synth? enough to be a commercial project?
(use only 2 or 3 voices or the CPU goes red!)

Appendix:
What is a fractal LFO?
The fractal LFO (introduced for the first time with the NUSofting Kaotica freeware VST effect)
uses a simple quadratic equation called the logistic difference to generate "self-similar" patterns.
the patterns are always different but they are not randomized like thye usual S&H,

source=http://www.pha.jhu.edu/~ldb/seminar/logdiffeqn.html
the patterns are picked by the fractal LFO in the region where the fecondity value r is between 3.5 and 4,
as you can see in the picture above
