New in 'Coming next':
- You can now autoslice samples in sequencer
Is there no Whit Monday in Norway?
Hey Jorgen,
what else do you want to put into the next version before we can grap it and test it? It really is getting damn hard to wait for this next release.
Cheers,
Patrik

Hmmm,
those of you still getting crashes?
if i make a thread just for you guys are you willing to test so,e things? & give detailed reports?
for me the crashes have gone, but i am but one limited user,
if we can reproduce these crashes i can send files to jorgen & he can fix
all the new things coming look great but if XT2 is just going to crash on you they are no good
it seems the crash bugs are fixed for most so its those still getting them i will need help from,
feedback thoughts?

Yes, i am also experimenting several crashes. I can't say to be honnest that Ext2 is stable, it is even quite unpredictable.
Subz, it is kind from you to create a thread for that, but isn't sending error log to Jorgen enough ?
I mean (even if i only had one reply among maybe 10 crash reports), i send the crash log each time Ext2 crashes, with a brief description of what is happeining : having to do it also on the forum would seem a bit a time waste to me : am i wrong ?
If Jorgen were a bit more "alive" (like telling : "ok, thanks for your crash log", or "i don't need that crap", or "please test this possible fix release" or "don't worry, i am working on the meomry leak issue", etc), I'd feel a bit less like it is already a time waste...

Oh, and by the way, i am at last quite enthusiast about the 2 most recent "coming next" features
I really felt bored when i have read "next = bitcrusher and filter", as i really don't care at all at all about that. It even looked like a bad APril FOol's joke, when you already have plenty of nice freebies around and a DAW needing bugfixes.
Now it seems that there is some hint of a roadmap : cool.
I hope now things are going to speed up a bit (ahem, well, even a lot : Ext2 is out since more than one year now, and still very buggy), and that we soon will have multioutputs and fixing the memory usage issue (which is a big showstopper).
Oh, and, by the way, if the roadmap is around the drumtrack and made to please beatmakers, please add decay and tune to the drumtrack (like pan & vol) !

thats what they look like to me aswell
i think this forum is a good place to do it as between us we can maybe test & narrow down some stuff to make it easier for jorgen
thanks for all the feedback so far folks
its just a idea at the moment, but one worth discussing while we wait for the next beta?
