So I uploaded the new version to ShareIt with the "replace" option but I can't see it anywhere... hope they got things straight and deliver the right product... :roll:

Post

Same problem here. But I think I can wait and redownload from the Share-it link tomorrow, there aren't any restrictions prohibiting more than one download, are there ? Cheers, V.

Post

Yeah, that should work!

Post

The file I redownloaded still has the error. :(

tboulette,

Have you tried the command-line version of zip from the terminal? That worked just fine for me on my mac. Drag the archive to the Desktop and then open Terminal.app and type:

Code: Select all

$ cd ~/Desktop
$ unzip Z2_Oldskool.zip
It'll put "Zebra Oldskool" and "Zebra Oldskool Soundset.pdf" on the Desktop. That version of unzip also says everything is ok if I test (-t) the archive:

Code: Select all

$ unzip -t Z2_Oldskool.zip | tail -n 1
No errors detected in compressed data of Z2_Oldskool.zip.
You could also try The Unarchiver http://wakaba.c3.cx/s/apps/unarchiver.html. I got no errors using that program as well.

Good Luck!

BTW, here's my MD5 hash for Z2_Oldskool.zip:

Code: Select all

$ md5 Z2_Oldskool.zip
MD5 (Z2_Oldskool.zip) = 6d35e240dafa1fda8b033a5bd243f8f9

Post

I get this:

MD5 (Z2_Oldskool.zip) = 9666fe5990b32bb38f2a9fdb4569bc0e

And an error when I try to unzip it from the Mac Finder. Unzipping from the command line seems to extract most of the patches but also reports an error.

Post

Michael, can you (or anyone) send me another zip (zipped under Windows so that we don't have the Mac Finder info and gibberish)?

The one I exchanged on ShareIt's server does look even worse for some...

Later,

;) Urs

Post

yep, the one that is now on ShareIt has again a different error from the previous versions and is NOT the same as the second version Michael sent me per mail earlier. that one was the only one that unzipped without errors.

Post

EDIT : Hmm i'll zip the whole package on my Win XP laptop and not use the Vista laptop this time.

Hang in there...

My bad. I thought you were on a Mac since that's where this problem first surfaced. Hope the newest zip sets you straight! :D
