problem with transmission patch

Ok, as a temporary workaround, on the affected patches, reduce the Amp of LFO2 by quite some way, which takes it back to the rough ballpark of how it's supposed to sound.
The modulations are much stronger in 2.2 with fast modulations. Those affected patches use fast LFO modulation to get a gritty, raspy quality, but the 2.2 update makes it a raucus cacophony!
(Also, adjusting the MMix mod in the filter gives some way mental noises... careful with your speakers on that...(!) )
I need to reinstall an earlier Z2 version so I can get the behaviour as close as I can, and I will issue an 2.2 maintenance update with the fixes...

Sorry about casting my vote for the change - hope you understand. BTW: I had to do a lot of updating when the Reverb suddenly changed from Beta to Beta. I have a fixed version, just haven't distributed it yet (because I was adding some more content and bonus material and haven't wanted to bother Urs with it yet).
I went through and checked all the patches, and it turns out it was about 7 or so that were affected, and I re-did all those patches in all the versions, and all the variation patches based on them.
So if anyone is in dire need of the fixed version now - it's available - just PM me and include your shareit receipt if you have it (which will speed things up
and I will gladly provide the update...

Nope. I'll add a fix in Z2.3 or Z2.4...ttoz wrote:sorry to bump, but if i purchased the set now, would i be getting the "fixed" version?
It's only about 3 patches where the filters get wild...

Oh... please PM beej for a quick fix. He'll send it to you.
Beej and I have worked out that he'll release it after he got hold of a Zebra with GUI Skin support (currently being tested). He can then modify the Transmission Skin so that people can switch back and forth with less hassle.
It's my fault that things take so long. Got dragged in my wife's project for a couple of weeks and now fight some of these nasty bugs...

bumping this thread, as I yesterday bought Transmission (to complete my patch collection
) and realized that those patches are still broken...it's not critical for me, just wanted to know if there are still plans to update the soundset and/or zebra to correct those issues...

just wonderingg, will there be an officialy updated Transmission now, after 2.3 has been released? the "unofficial" version 1.10 works fine, so probably not, but an updated skin would be nicebeej wrote:Yep - any Transmission customers that need the fixed version can PM me and I'll sort you out. Otherwise, it'll be rolled into a more general update when some things in Zebra change, to avoid creating update-itis for everybody...

I'm still working on V2.3 - streamlining the website, adding AFTERskool, creating the newsletter.Goratrix wrote:just wonderingg, will there be an officialy updated Transmission now, after 2.3 has been released? the "unofficial" version 1.10 works fine, so probably not, but an updated skin would be nicebeej wrote:Yep - any Transmission customers that need the fixed version can PM me and I'll sort you out. I'll work something out with Ben soon. Maybe we can just post the updated config file without the graphics and a little ReadMe for the installation.
You can already use it though. Just put the whole folder "Transmission Skin" here:
MacHD/Library/Application Support/u-he/Themes/
C:\Program Files\u-he\Support\Themes\
You can then rename it to "Transmission", and it appears in the [look] menu as well as on right-clicks almost anywhere into the gui. As the contextual menu also works without the [look] control, you can still switch size and themes. It just lacks some of teh new modules and controls.
