Zebra2 note problem

Hey everyone, just recently got the Zebra2 demo VST for windows, I'm running XP with FL Studio 8. I'm having an odd problem with Zebra, after having it running and playing for a while, it sometimes screws up and then every note I hit on my midi keyboard (axiom61) just plays a sequence of notes, I can hit the same key and it will play the same sequence of about 5 notes, triggering the next note in the sequence everytime I hit the key. It doesn't matter which key I hit, it just plays the next note in a sequence. It has happened three times now and I don't know what's wrong. Changing the patch doesn't fix it, only reloading Zebra does. Anyone know what's going on here? Or is this some thing that the demo version does? Help Please!

That's a demo limitation. I think it kicks in after about 10 minutes.

I figured it was since there was no static inserted ever, but it was an odd thing to do and I couldn't find any documentation on it. I wanted to make sure it wasn't a problem with the synth or I probably wouldn't get it. Thanks.

It's mentioned in one of the stickies at the top of this forum. Personally, I think it's a rather cool demo limitation, since you can still test the sound of the various patches as long as you like without, say, having to close and then re-open the program.Zephyr Tread wrote:I figured it was since there was no static inserted ever, but it was an odd thing to do and I couldn't find any documentation on it.

I was also wondering if any sort of pops would have anything to do with it being the demo, because I often get pops and clicks without having a high CPU usage or any under-runs on my soundcard, anyone know what it could be? It happens mostly when using lots of polyphony.

That usually happens when your track clips at over 0dB. Do you have a brickwall limiter on the effects chain for that track?Zephyr Tread wrote:I was also wondering if any sort of pops would have anything to do with it being the demo, because I often get pops and clicks without having a high CPU usage or any under-runs on my soundcard, anyone know what it could be?
