sample tank loops on sonar 6 and 7

Does anyone know how to record sample tank 2.5 loops into sonar. It looks like it is recording but when I hit playback the recording seems to disappear.
What to do? What to do?

I would check with Cakewalk on that or IK tech support perhaps.

You can't treat them like audio loops in SONAR and hopefully you realize that you actually have to press a key while you want the loop to record. If you need more flexibility, render the MIDI track to audio and then you can use the looping tools in SONAR.

Go into PRV mode or PIANO ROLL and see if a MIDI note shows up when pressing a key while you're recording. If not, you don't have something routed correctly.

Record some midi, and make sure it plays back after.


select both the ST2.5 tracks ( midi and DXi )and bounce to track

right click the clip and select groove clip looping;
OR
select the clip and hit ctrl+L
