BTW why don't you use XP for music? XP is much more reliable than Vista for music applications

vista insists on per-user-account stuff, it's vista wot's messed up; like luigi says, why not stick with xp - it's not broke & it don't need fixing (unlike vista)Karmacomposer wrote: For whatever reason, in Vista

I'm pretty sure I did (d/l and install 1.5), but since I JUST downloaded it, I will install it again.

Because my music server died a horrific death and I wanted to purchase an HP Touchsmart computer (with unreal touch screen technology) - and that came with Vista pre-installed.
Before you guys get in an uproar about Vista, I have made some phenomenal stuff using Sonar 5 PE and my other software - ALL of which works with Vista as it did with XP (except Drumcore).
I have zero problems with Vista, with the rare exception that it absolutely SUCKS at downloading anything.
For better or worse, it is what I have and now that I have finally got it right the way I like it, I REFUSE to re-install AGAIN!!!!!
Besides, the touchscreen is sooooo cool for mixing and synth tweaking with on-screen controls and sliders.

Hello Modelonia User!
Modelonia VSTi is getting better and better,
version 1.7.0.1 has been released and it's already available to the registered user,
and you surely want to know:
What's New?
Sound Engine Update and Upgrade
1) Added an extra bank of 46 new presets, also redesigned Templates in the Sound Wizard
2) LFO Single Shot Mode added, it can be used as an extra envelope.
3) MIDI Program Change response added (with some limitations)
4) The Macro control is now automatable and linked to MIDI CC 45 by default
5) PitchBend response improved
6) Dynamic response and vibrato improved.
7) Fixed compatibily with NI Kore 2 and Ableton Live (possibly with other hosts too)
8 ) Dramatically reduced CPU usage
Utilities Update and Upgrade
1) Bank Rotate: all preset banks (FXB files) in the Data folder can be loaded by the GUI
with a single click
2) Skin Rotate: all skin sets (editor apperance) in the Data folder can now be loaded on the fly
with a single click (new skins coming soon, or make your own)
3) Refresh of program names has been fixed, both on host and Modelonia GUI
4) "Nusofting Data" folder (with skin bitmaps and presets)
can now be alternatively located where you like.
Known issues:
1) When using MIDI Program Change to Modelonia
not all parameters can be changed smoothly,
therefore depending on the preset a burst of noise may be produced.
2) Changing preset from the Modelonia GUI menu results in a delay of about
500 ms for the graphics to update.
3) The sound of Modelonia slightly depends on the VST Host SampleRate, so the new
bank has been designed at 44100 Hz, some of its presets may subtly change
when played using other SampleRate values.
4) Mono Legato mode can smoothly change pitch only if the current Preset allows that.
5) Old presets made with previous versions can be eccessively vibrato or too soft when played with this 1.7, but 1.2. and 1.5 are still avaliable for registered users.
For your old presets to be played in v1.7 the parameters to check and adjust are:
- Pitch Horn LFO send
- Lips A LFO send
- Both R+B sliders
6) The combi Windows Vista + Cakewalk P5 may crash while loading Modelonia, you need to disable the audio driver just while loading the plugin.

2) We must complete the Mac versions within the Summer

Oooh, i'll have to have a look at this. Nice work, sir.
An idiot on Set Theory:

Oh man I want to grab this, too, thought I with the time I've got left on the net atm I probably can't track down my ticket that fast
But I'll be back. I've been doing some weird experiments with modelonia out here in exile.
