it's been a couple of weeks now. I'm sure Sylenth is worked hard on. But is
there a chance of getting a prel-release quarter of this year?

I'm sorry for being impatient. But when something is fantastic you
really want it yesterday :D . Keep up the good work!

Hope you are great Lennard

Absolutely agree with you.

I'm sick to death of it stuttering in FL Studio. Even when I wrap it it still does it. Drives me crazy!!

Not exactly the greatest customer service and update scheduling I've ever seen in my life here. Altogether disappointing and infuriating both at the same time.

Promises were made to address the performance issues and improve the GUI absolutely ages ago. Surely it doesn't take *this* long???!!!!

Jason Taverner doesn`t exist.

He popped in not that long ago to say that he ran into some issues (no show stoppers) but that it was taking a little longer than expected and not to worry because he is still working on it.

It was 28 April when Lennard last responded to an inquiry about progress. Today is 28 May so maybe we'll have another update.

Yup, progress updates seem to be coming about once a month, give or take a few days... So hopefully we will hear something again soon? ;)

I think it's important to remember here that Synthedit is used for Sylenth1...so it's not always up to Lennard to address the bugs, as they may in fact be synthedit caused. If that were the case, he'd have to work in collaboration with the Synthedit creator, which would take a bit longer.

I'm sure he's got something cooking, don't get your panties all bunched up. ;-)

No but didn't it burn down in a day?

The problem is this:

"SynthEdit has only been used to build the user-interface of Sylenth1, because it simply allows easy graphical UI creation (as opposed to a tedious and boring job when done in C++)"

Is a very misleading statement. It's obviously far more complex than it sounds using SE "just to wrap the gui". Witnessed both in this case and the Crysonic saga as well. The Native version of Sylenth 1 has been coming for what seems like at least six months now so people are getting a bit anxious. It would be nice if Lennard did a quick "progress report" once a week.

Just speculating... Maybe the problem right now isn't the SynthEdit GUI removal for the Windows version, but making Sylenth1 work on a Mac since that's what this is mostly about (and the occasional stutter for us Windows users of course..)

I don't know what the differences are for coding synths for different operating systems but there are alot of synths out there for just a single OS so there must be something difficult about it.

But a reply every two weeks or so on the progress would be nice. And for Lennard if he's watching, we are only complaining because Sylenth1 sounds so good :D . We just don't like the stutter effect.

Post

.... And you would think that he would fix the broken one before moving onto the Mac version.....?
