Oi, more Z2 stuff inbound :)

Yesterday i bought Real Guitar 2 and gave it a spin with Z2 and Stylus RMX.

The first 8 bars is all playing, RG2, Z2 and Stylus
Next 8 Bars is RG2 and Stylus only
Next 8 bars is Z2 only
Next 8 bars is all playing again.

Notice the shear range which Z2 covers in that little arrangement and i havent even started EQ'ing yet. The Z2 kick and snare needs some subtle EQ attention while the hihat seems to be ok.

Give it a listen just for fun :)

I think guitar (strummed or otherwise) is one of the most difficult things to emulate, but I still enjoyed your track as I usually do

I haven't looked, but do you have an LP I can buy? I like your music

Regarding LP-CD stuff i would say all i've done up until now is obsolete and belongs in another era, mainly the 80's and early 90's. My music from then is scattered all over on various albums by other artists. I only had a very few i could call my own albums. The second thing is i have a really hard time staying long enough within one sphere of music to make an actual album, i get bored pretty quick.

In my head i have plans for an Ambient album (Steve Roach - Robert Rich), a Smooth Jazz album (Paul Hardcastle-Pat Metheny), a New Age (Vangelis-Kitaro) album AND an Electronic album (Jarre-Tangerine Dream). I dont have a clue which of these genres comes first

On my About page i have recently posted clips of some of the 80's and 90's music and arrangements i did for various artist and labels.

Crazy track of mine with zebra as the main horn synth. I have never used a horn patch. I usually run from them. So I forced myself to use one on this.

I'm working on various setups for certain styles. At the moment its about Smooth Jazz. My first attemt at this setup consisted of acoustic/real instruments all over but i had a hard time blending Zebra into the arrangements, something just didnt sound right so i started over by keeping the drums and then have Zebra do the all instruments. I've tried with various brass sample libraríes but the damn things wouldnt blend in so i figured ohh well lets make a feeble trumpet attempt well knowing it wont cover all aspects but it might just do the job.

The drums are a mix of several libraries, my aim was to have a very dry and tight kit.

So here we are, sampled real drums and Z2 having a smooth time:

Another zebra-tune:

(from the label's latest release, first track)

Can you spot the only sound that does not come from zebra? ;)

(so much jazzy & ambient stuff on here so thought I'd drop some bunker tones on the thread for balance :)

You got a drivers license for that one, seems massive ;) You gave the balance a good bump there.

Here's a piece I did at my concert at Helen Mills Theater on Monday night in New York.
It's based on Zebra patch "SM klingklang MW"
